We are having a bash.  Best you be there.  August 23rd.  We’re paddling and pedaling and partying at the beach.  You can do all or none, but you must show up for dinner by the dock.  Dee would just love to see you and your other, whoever that is at the time.

For those who prefer to pedal we push off from the Capitola Pier at 2 p.m. There will be complementary parking behind the band stand or you can fend for yourself.  We’ll ride to Nisene Marks and back.

For those who prefer to paddle we put in at the Capitola Pier at 4 p.m.  We’ll paddle to the kelp beds and beyond.  There will be an impromptu surf competition if there’s a wave to be found.  Bring your own SUP or rent one from Capitola Surf and Paddle.

Be back on the beach by 6:30 for a not-so-hot shower next to the Capitola Band Stand then onto the main event.  Dinner at Zelda’s.
